Traffic Layout Changes
Construction works largely complete on the M50 mainline in both directions. Three lanes in operation from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday; 8am to 10pm on Sundays. Permanent 100 km/h speed limit applies to mainline carriageway. The construction of the M50 Northbound to Leopardstown Freeflow Link and the M50 Southbound to Drummartin Freeflow Link are now open.

Works underway on the M50 mainline in both directions. Three lanes in operation from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday; 8am to 10pm on Sundays. 60 Km/ph speed limit will apply for the duration of the works.

New Traffic Layout Junction 6 N3
From 06:00am Wednesday 14th July 2010, there will be a change in Traffic Layout Inbound at the N3 Interchange, which will include traffic travelling over the newly constructed bridges. Please click on the below link for plans and further details.
New Traffic Layout Junction 6 N3
Please be aware that a new free flow slip road from the outbound N3 to southbound M50 will open soon. This will enable traffic travelling outbound on the N3 wishing to join the southbound M50 to do so without having to use the existing roundabout. The opening date will be confirmed shortly.

A revised Traffic Layout at Scott's Roundabout has been implemented. Scott's Roundabout will be removed completely and replaced by a newly constructed T Junction. This new Junction will be operated and controlled by traffic lights at all times. Please note that a Right Turn Access to Total Fitness has been provided to outbound traffic.
The pedestrian route has also changed in an effort to make access to Total Fitness easier and more convenient to Pedestrians.
Change in Layout N2 Interchange Saturday 22nd May 2010
Please be aware that as of 06.00 Saturday 22nd May 2010 there will be a change in traffic layout at the N2 Interchange. Traffic on M50 South Bound wishing to Travel Outbound towards Ashborne will be diverted via newly constructed Off Ramp running parallel with M50 South Bound Carriageway. There will also be a closure of the western section of the N2 Interchange roundabout. This closure of the roundabout means anyone wishing to turn from N2 Inbound - N2 Outbound will be diverted via Finglas Village Roundabout.
Also, Please be aware that there will be a change in Traffic Layout M50 North Bound - N2 Inbound. This change in Layout will see traffic diverted over the newly constructed North Bound Bridge and onto the N2 Inbound via newly constructed Loop.

N2 Interchange Traffic Management Plan
Tuesday 11th May 2010 - New slip road opening at J5 N2
The next Traffic Management phase on the N2 Interchange will see the new permanent on-ramp from the city bound N2 to the northbound M50 open. This will replace the existing on-ramp to the northbound M50 which will be closed.
Junction 5 N2 Free Flow Slip to M50 Northbound
Please be aware that as of Thursday 8th April at 06:00hrs a new free flow slip will open at Junction 5 N2. This new free flow slip will allow traffic travelling Dublin-bound on the N2 to access the northbound M50 without having to use the M50/N2 roundabout.

From 06.00 Tuesday 26th January 2010 there will be a change in traffic layout on N2 Inbound approaching M50 Interchange. This change in Traffic Layout will see traffic moved onto the newly constructed permanent layout. Please note that this is currently a temporary surface and care should be taken at all times.

Airport Interchange M1 - Junction 3 M1/M50 Interchange Temporary Traffic Management Removal
From 06:00Am 16th February 2010 there will a change to the traffic layout. All Temporary Traffic Management will be removed between Airport Interchange M1 to Junction 3 M1/M50 Interchange. All lanes will be open to traffic travelling between these two Junctions.

Works underway on the M1 mainline between Coolock Interchange and M1/M50 Interchange northbound and between Airport Interchange and M1/M50 Interchange southbound. Two lanes in operation from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday; 8am to 10pm on Sundays.
